Construction Payment FAQs

How do I enroll and what information do I need?

To enroll, please visit and click on the “Enroll” button. This will take you to the Enrollment page, where you will be asked to provide basic contact information, choose your security settings, and enter the basic financial information that you will use to pay your invoice. You will need a valid email address and a copy of a recent invoice which provides your customer ID number.

How much does it cost to enroll?

Nothing. It is completely free to enroll in the service.

What methods of payments can I use to pay my invoice?

You can pay your invoice using a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card, or you can have funds drawn directly from your checking or savings account.

Will I have access to my past invoices?

Yes. We provide access to 6-12 months of your invoice history on our website, starting with August 2019.

Can I save my invoices to my computer?

Yes. When viewing your invoices online, you will have the option to download a copy of the invoice and save it to your computer. You will also have the ability to print a copy of your invoice if you want to save a hard copy for your records.

Will I get confirmation when my payment is received?

Yes. If you elect this option, you will receive an email when your payment has been received.

Do I need any special hardware or software to sign up?

No. You will only need web access and your browser.

Who can I contact with questions regarding my account or payments?

Is this service secure?

Yes. The service is designed to maintain the privacy and security of your financial information. We use industry recognized security safeguards including SSL encryption, firewall technology and intrusion detection systems.

Will my information be shared with anyone?

No. All information is stored in a secured environment to prevent unauthorized access to your personal and financial data. We will not distribute your personal information for marketing and solicitation purposes.

I sent a check to Connexus Energy to pay a previous invoice. Why don’t I see that payment under the history tab on the ebill-express portal?

Only payments made via the on-line portal will show up on the history tab.

I have an electric account with Connexus Energy. Can I combine that payment with a payment for construction services?

No, only payments for construction services can be paid via this on-line payment portal. Any electric payments will be returned and your account may be subject to penalties and interest.

I have a quote from Connexus Energy and I agree to the terms and want to get the work started. Can I pay the amount due on the quote via the on-line payment portal?

No, payments can only be made on invoices (quotes that have been formally accepted and turned into an invoice by Connexus staff). For residential services, please call our Builders Team at 763.323.4214.

How soon will my project start, once I make a payment on the portal?

Once all requirements have been met your project will move to scheduling.
