Wi-Fi Thermostat Convenience

Wi-Fi thermostats
More than just cool

If you talk with people who have a Wi-Fi thermostat, they’ll likely tell you they couldn’t imagine their life without it. If you’re still wondering whether to get one, here are some benefits.

> Save money and energy

A Wi-Fi thermostat gives you more control over your energy use. How? It lets you adjust it remotely via your smart phone, laptop, or other devices that are connected to the Internet. For instance, you’re already heading up north to the cabin for the weekend and you forgot to turn your thermostat onto vacation mode. All you have to do is log on to your smart phone or computer and turn it on. No more worrying about wasting money and energy when you’re not at home. With Wi-Fi thermostats, an average family can save around $110 per year on their energy bills.

> Monitor outdoor conditions and indoor environment

Some Wi-Fi models communicate with sensors outside that will give you a correct reading on humidity levels and outdoor temperature. With that information, you can choose the right temperature for your home. That will help your budget and ensure your home is always comfortable.
