The monthly adder for joining our whole-house solar program is now only $17 per month. If you participate in the half-house solar program, the monthly adder is $8.50. These are additional monthly fees on your regular electric bill to ensure your electric usage comes from a green energy source.

New Wi-Fi thermostat options
Check out the new, easy-to-install Honeywell Lyric Round Wi-Fi thermostat. It’s perfect for those whose thermostat works with only four wires. The Lyric Round is one of several thermostats that now qualify for a $125 rebate when you join our Wi-Fi PowerNap® Air Conditioning program. In addition, you’ll get $30 in savings for each summer you participate in the program.

- 5 slices bacon
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
- 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9×11-inch baking dish.
Place bacon in a large skillet and cook until edges just start to curl. Reserve about 1 tablespoon bacon drippings in the skillet.
Cook onion and garlic in the bacon drippings until softened. Remove from heat and cool.
Mix all ingredients except 3 tablespoons barbeque sauce together in a large bowl. Form beef mixture into a log-shaped meatloaf; place in the prepared baking dish.
Wrap partially-cooked bacon slices around the meatloaf.
Bake for 35 minutes. Brush meatloaf with 3 tablespoons barbeque sauce. Continue baking until no longer pink in the center, about 10 more minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
