How do I know which thermostat is right for me?

One of our authorized installers from Threshold, the contractor we have selected, will determine which thermostat will work best based on the number of wires used by your current thermostat. In most cases, the T5+ will be used when there are 4-wires available and the Wi-Fi 9000 will be used when there are 5-wires.

What do I need to do to prepare for my installation?

Please be sure you have the following information ready for the installer to complete your installation and enrollment into the Wi-Fi Powernap air conditioning program.

  • Wi-Fi network name and password. You will be asked to enter this to connect your thermostat.
  • Connexus Energy account number

How long will the installation take?

Typically, appointments for installing and enrolling the thermostat in the Wi-Fi Powernap air conditioning program take an hour.

Is there a warranty on installation?

Warranty work resulting from the installation appointment and work done are covered and should be referred back to the contractor Threshold, 763.225.9669.

Is there a warranty on the thermostat?

Any warranty related to the thermostat itself should be refered to Honeywell/Resideo. All product warranty information is listed in the product literature.

Will these thermostats work for any HVAC system?

Not all heating and cooling systems are compatible with all types of wi-fi thermostats. If you have one of the following HVAC systems, we strongly encourage you to contact Residio (Honeywell Home Connected Product Support) at 855.733.5465 prior to scheduling an appointment and confirm that this model will work with your system.
