As a Connexus Energy member, we encourage you to participate in our upcoming annual election. When you vote, you elect fellow members to serve on the Connexus Energy Board of Directors. The board is the governing body for our cooperative and the directors set the policies and rates. Your vote helps decide the direction of Connexus Energy.
Your voting packet will be mailed to you in late March. The packet includes information on the candidates and how you can vote electronically, by mail, or in person at the Annual Meeting. An independent tabulation service mails, receives, and tabulates the ballots. Election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on April 11 and will be available online at connexusenergy.com.
Watch annual meeting live online
If you can’t join us at the annual meeting, you will be able to watch the meeting live on your computer or mobile device and take part in the question and answer portion of the program. Information on how to view the live webcast of the annual meeting will be included in your voting packets.

Braised Corned Beef Brisket
Ingredients:
- 1 (5 pound) flat-cut corned beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon browning sauce (such as Kitchen Bouquet)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 6 cloves garlic, sliced
- 2 tablespoons water
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Discard any flavoring packet from corned beef. Brush brisket with browning sauce on both sides. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown brisket on both sides in the hot oil, 5 to 8 minutes per side.
Place brisket on a rack set in a roasting pan. Scatter onion and garlic slices over brisket and add water to roasting pan. Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil.
Roast in the preheated oven until meat is tender, about 6 hours.
