Cold Weather Rule
The Minnesota Cold Weather
Rule protects residential utility customers during the cold winter
months. Under this rule, your electric service will not be disconnected
from October 15 through April 15 if you meet the Cold Weather Rule
requirements.
In order to qualify for Inability to Pay Status,
please submit the form and
ensure your account is current through the October
billing (or you have set
up a payment schedule and are current with your payments).
Under
this rule, your electric service will not be disconnected from October
15 through April 15 because of non-payment provided you meet ALL
following conditions:

The
disconnection would affect your primary heat source,
-
You
qualify for Inability-to-Pay Status, and
-
You
mutually agree to a payment schedule with the Connexus Energy Credit
Department.
