Connexus Energy is YOUR electric cooperative. As a Connexus Energy member, you may get Cash Back. Cash Back is based on your annual electric use.
Cash Back credits are included on July statements. For members who receive Cash Back checks, the checks
are distributed in August.

It is based on your annual electric purchases from Connexus Energy. As a member of Connexus Energy, you may get Cash Back.
What happens to my Cash Back if I move before I get my July bill?
We will apply it to your final bill or mail you a check if there is a credit.
Why don't you just lower my electric rates rather than give me Cash Back?
IRS regulations and our bylaws make Cash Back the best way to share the benefits of being a member-owned
utility.
Will I get Cash Back every year?
We hope so; unless something like a significant ice or windstorm makes it financially impossible for us to give Cash Back, we expect to do it every year.
Did Cash Back replace Capital Credits?
Yes. Cash Back is easier for members to understand.
I'm a former member and I have an old allocation report that states I should be receiving money this year on the old 20-year FIFO (First
In, First Out). When will I get my money?
If your total balance is less than $100, you will get $10 of your Cash
Back this year.
If your total balance is over $100, you will get 4.3% of your balance back as a Cash Back payment this year.
If you became a former member in 1988, or in a prior year, and still have a balance, you will get 100% of your balance back as a Cash Back payment this year.
